We got to see those old vintage sea boots in an old fishing museum at our summer island Gotland, Sweden. I love finding those rare travel photo objects.
Sea boats made of leather and wood, the two materials they had to use back in those days.
Primitive, but functional and also better for the environment indeed!
I think I would die if I use this kind of boots. My feet would complain afterwards LOL
