Lifecruiser now presents 13 of our experiences in different trips that gave us the most boost of inspiration and travel fuel. The trips experiences that makes the travel interest going.

Those different experiences from trips that for different reasons stays in our memories until eternity, for totally different reasons.

Not necessary so remarkable, just the ones given us most pleasure right in that moment. Often it is the mood you are in that defines a success, right?

  1. Most spectacular: Wet kiss at Iguazu Falls
  2. Best beach water: Elafonisi, Crete
  3. Biggest beach: Monte Gordo, Algarve, Portugal
  4. Best B&B: Steinway playing, Scotland
  5. Best hotel: Hotel Vanity Golf, Majorca, Spain
  6. Best hostel: Wombats City Hostel, Vienna, Austria
  7. Most unique roadtrip: 4620 km roadtrip to Spain
  8. Dearest memory: French Riviera blog meetup
  9. Biggest blog meetup: Oslo blog gathering, Norway
  10. Best tour experience: Iceland excursions
  11. Love memory 1: Proposal in Paris
  12. Love memory 2: Honeymoon, Crete, Greece
  13. Winner: Our engagement beach, Gotland, Sweden

You might wonder why the engagement beach are a winner?

It’s impossible to beat a fabulous island beach like that, especially deeply in love, in February changing rings in minus degrees, very windy with sand blowing into the Champagne glasses, totally alone under the stars – it felt like we were alone in the universe!

Recently we also made a Lifecruiser Travel brief list where you can have an overview over Lifecruiser trips we’ve done before.

    Wonderful post.
Do excuse me for taking some time to comment on each of your pin pointed experiences. Some of them we have had together, and some on the very same places we as well have visited.

#1 – Iguazu – I’ll never forget. It’s a wonder and ment to be a place for respect and love.
#2 – Looks really pleasant – we have never been there
#3 – Monte Gardo: We were in Tavira, about the same time. Took the Ferry out to the Island – and went to the Cloth Optional Beach. The other one was simøy to crowded and noisy for us;-)
#4 – Scotland: Never been there, but we know some great scottish people
    #5 – Mallorca – Been there for 3 Days – Business Conference – Palma
#6 – Wien/Vienna – just crossed around from Bratislave to Karlovy Vary
#7 – 4620 km . I remember you wrote about this adnetures trip. Our longest road-trip in Eiurope was even longer, incl Italy, Spain and western France. Allmost 6000 km.

But no I have to go to bed.
    I’ll coment the rest later.

PS. Wonderful moments for your and others memories

We went to Vienna about two weeks ago and enjoyed it a lot. We are just returning from a trip to Paris, Vienna and Brussels. We are dead tired as we walked so much – at this point we think that cruising is a lot easier on our old bones! We went on a cruise to Hawaii last Jan-Feb and are thinking about going on a small cruise in October. We may drive 5 hours to a beach in Florida next month and that would be relaxing. I still would like to go to Argentina sometime and see the falls. I started a document to show where I have traveled since I came to the US in the 60s but it is hard as I did not take notes but I have some old film pictures that might help. We are thinking about going to San Francisco next year for our 45th wedding anniversary – I have not been back there since 1970 – it must have changed somewhat.

Yes Tor, it seem a bit strange thinking that we were at the almost same spot at the same time there in Tavira, without knowing each other. It’s a pity that our roads didn’t cross earlier than they did :-) Oh, and 6000 km – that must have been such a memorable trip for sure!

Yes, Al, one can live of the memories for a long time too :-)

Oh, yes Vagabonde, about Vienna: so much walking, that I had severe blisters… hi hi… Oh, to re-experience San Franscisco sounds like an awesome idea!

This is fun, LC, to make a list like this. Astrid and I have been together only 1-1/2 years now, here in The Netherlands, but I think we could easily make a Best list. :)
